“Whenever you go to bed, recite “Ayat-al-Kursi”– ‘Allaahu laa ilaaha illaa huwal-Hayyul Qayyuum’ till you finish the whole verse. There is a verse in it that is theĬhief of all verses of the Qur’an, the ayat ul-Kursi.” “Everything has a hump and the hump of the Quran is surah al-Baqarah.
Sayyidina Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “The one who recites Ayat-al kursi after the conclusion of an obligatory prayer, he is under the Care of Allah until the next prayer commences.” It is reported by at-Tabarani that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: There is nothing which prevents him from entering Paradise except death,Īnd it is only a righteous and pious worshipper who would persist in reciting it regularly.”Īlbaani classified it as authentic, and other scholars classified it as a sound narration ‘Whoever reads Aayatul Kursi, (Quran 2:255), after each obligatory prayer, ”I heard the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) saying while on his pulpit: In such a case this guarantee will not apply. However, this applies as long as that particular person does not commit any major sin without seeking repentance for it. When the Prophet repeated his question several times, Imam Ahmad recorded that `Ubayy bin Ka`b said that the Prophet asked him about the greatest Ayah in the Book of Allah, and `Ubayy answered, “Allah and His Messenger know better.” This is Ayat Al-Kursi and tremendous virtues have been associated with it, for the authentic Hadith describes it as `the greatest Ayah in the Book of Allah.’ His throne doth extend over the heavens and on earth,Īnd He feeleth No fatigue in guarding and preserving them,įor He is the Most High, The Supreme (in glory).” Nor shall they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth.
He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures As) before or after or behind them. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as he permitteth?
